They are just like normal slippers in the day since some clever electronics incorporated into the soles mean the lights only come on when your feet are inside the slippers and it is dark so you just put them on and they work automatically.
They are fantastic for midnight errands, trips to the loo etc. without having to blind yourself with the main lights or risk tripping over in the dark. A fun and unusual gift for someone who has it all.
