Good morning everybody!
This week has been quite exciting: we’re gearing up for final slipper samples to arrive for approval of our new designs.
When they land in our offices it’s like Christmas all over, with the girls “ooohing” and “aahing” whilst the males act a little more nonchalant (still peeping when they think we’re not looking, mind).
Apart from John making us a cup of tea (it has occurred twice) or the sharing of afternoon cakes, there isn’t much that will displace the excitement of new arrivals.
This week, however, it’s happened. We’ve just found out we’ve won a bronze award in a major rebranding competition.
Do you remember that giant slipper from last October? You know, the one we sold at the Children in Need auction, raising £1500.
The slipper made such an impact around the world that we entered a global rebranding competition called the Transform Awards. This is (according to the organisers) “Europe’s biggest celebration of excellence in rebranding, repositioning and brand transformation”. Phew!
The competition is open to all sizes of company from around the world and there were some biggies in the mix … household names like Greene King and Little Chef.
Here’s the link so you can see for yourselves.
There’s not much work being done today: we’re dancing round our desks in our monster claw slippers … Pudsey would be proud.
That’s all for now. A short entry today, but we’ll be back next week with more.
Until then, BIG hugs from the entire (slightly excited) Monster Team. xx
